Do you recognize your Shepherd and realize that God is wonderfully at work in your life? He’s there even in troubling, stressful times. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27) Jesus knows you. Listen to Him. Feel God’s love. Receive His joy. In this week’s sermon, Pastor Rod said “Joy is stronger than fear.” He encouraged us to make a “Life Giving List,” listing people, places and activities where you feel most loved. When anxiety creeps in, do some of those things that give you joy and reflect on God’s goodness. God is a great Shepherd who is always with you. “Joy is a gift from God to sustain us in difficult times.” (Pastor Rod, sermon, May 8, 2022). Open your heart to receive this gift of joy from your amazing Shepherd. Listen to the sermon, “Recognizing God” here. Read more verses about following God and joy’s power in the .pdf download below.
