Storms smack us unexpectedly and overwhelm our lives. What kind of storms are you experiencing? Financial crises, hurricanes, uncertainty, job stress, loss, grief, floods, home repairs, relationship problems, family worries, utter fatigue or other challenges? Jesus was with the disciples in a storm. He is also with you. “And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. A windstorm suddenly arose on the sea, so great that the boat was being swamped by the waves, but he was asleep. And they went and work him up saying, ‘Lord save us! We are perishing!’ And he said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, you of little faith?’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a dead calm. They were amazed.” (Matthew 8:23-27) God is with you in the mild and fierce storms. Reach out to Him. Jesus told you, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20).
