In Hebrews, Chapter 10, verses 19-25 and verses 24-25 reads, “and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
In another reading some time ago, a Pastor was asked, “Why do we go to church?” his answer, “We go to church for other people because someone may need you there.” This is not the only reason but it does resonate what the author of Hebrews stressed, “not giving up meeting together in verse 10:25. Why? Because something vital would be missed in our absence which is, “encouraging one another and to spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”
