It's time for JOY's annual congregational meeting! The meeting will be held virtually on Sunday, January 31, at 1:30p, via Zoom. At this meeting, we will elect council and nominating committee members, select synod assembly representatives, and vote on our 2021 budget. Prior to the meeting an electronic packet, containing council nominee biographies, details of the proposed budget, and membership statistics, will be available for review.
Members, please REGISTER HERE immediately. All interested parties are invited to attend the Zoom meeting (the link will be provided in this newsletter at a later date), however only members may participate in voting, and all of thoseindividuals must be pre-registered by midnight Wednesday, January 20th. In the week prior to the meeting, members will receive instructions regarding use of the secure "BallotClick" voting app for smart phones or mobile devices.
Please register again, even if you've registered for a 2019 congregational meeting. We regret that we cannot accommodate registration requests after January 20th, as the "sign-in" list will be provided to the synod office for voting codes, and we will not be able to make in-house updates.
