Home For The Holidays Kitchen Supply Drive

Once again for Thanksgiving this year Lutheran Family Services is requesting kitchen supplies for the families they serve. In the past, Joyhas provided food baskets, but each family is unique with different dietary requirements. Many of the families lack practical pots and pans, cooking and serving utensils, and baking supplies needed to cook a holiday meal. Last year we had a wonderful response from Joymembers, so we are hoping for donations of many kitchen supplies for this Thanksgiving. All items should be new and can be brought to the Donation Station starting next week. The drive will end on Sunday, November 10th.

Items needed are:

-Pots and Pans   

-Cooking Utensils

-Measuring Cups   

-Measuring Spoons   

-Food Storage Containers    

-Mixing Bowls

For members who prefer to make a monetary donation, checks should be made out to Joy Lutheran Church with Thanksgiving Drive in the memo line, and online donations should be directed to Thanksgiving Drive. Funds will be used to purchase grocery gift cards.
