Updates: Military Ministry and Wreaths

On November 10, the Military Ministry hosted a breakfast for our veterans in honor of Veterans Day. We had muffins, bagels, fruit, juice & coffee in between the two services. 

During that time together, we also took a vote on which of 4 veteran organizations to make a donation to. The overwhelming choice was Freedom Service Dogs, and we are sending them a $300 donation.   

The Military Ministry would also like to thank everyone who has purchased a brick for the JoyMemorial Garden this year and/or sponsored a wreath for the December 14 National Wreath Laying Day.  THANK YOU!

A reminder that the Military Ministry is still taking orders for wreaths for the National Wreath Laying Day on December 14. Our deadline for all wreath orders this year is November 29. Wreaths are $17. You may order wreaths for general placement at Ft. Logan (total goal is 20,000) as well as for the specific grave of a friend or relative. The Military Ministry will be set up in the Fellowship Hall the weekend of November 16 and 17 for wreath orders, or you may go online and place your order HERE.
